Theodor and Jan Pištěk are exhibiting together at Villa Pellé for the first time. "Pištěk & Pištěk – Two Worlds" is the name of the exhibition that will showcase two painters, connected by the closest family bond, at the Bubeneč-based Galerie Villa Pellé from October 19. Despite numerous exhibitions and successful projects, this will be their first joint exhibition. This year's nonagenarian Theodor Pištěk, who emerged on the scene in the early 1960s, is a true legend, a key figure in hyperrealist painting, and a globally recognized costume designer. His son Jan belongs to the generation of the 1980s and 1990s, which helped shape the postmodern direction of Czech painting after the fall of communism. Source: (c) Galerie Villa Pellé
